Deborah Rohm Young, Ph.D.
is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology.
Her research interests focus on physical activity behavior
and its association with cardiovascular disease prevention.
Dr. Young has a primary interest in developing and evaluating
community-based physical activity interventions, particularly
in population subgroups that are known to be underactive.
She also has expertise in evaluating determinants of physical
activity and physical activity assessment issues. Much of
her research has focused on working with minority and female
samples.
