Driving Directions to the University of Maryland Campus
From Baltimore and Points North
- Take I-95 South to Washington, D.C.'s Capital Beltway (I-495).
- Take Exit 27 and then follow signs to Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
- Proceed approximately two miles south on U.S. Route 1.
- Turn right onto Campus Drive (main entrance to campus).
From Virginia and Points South
- Take I-95 North to Washington, D.C.'s Capital Beltway (I-495).
- Continue North on I-95/I-495 toward Baltimore.
- Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
- Proceed approximately two miles south on U.S. Route 1.
- Turn right onto Campus Drive (main entrance to campus).
From Virginia and Points West
- Take I-66 East or I-270 South to Washington, D.C.'s Capital Beltway (I-495).
- Go East on I-495 toward Baltimore/Silver Spring.
- Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
- Proceed approximately two miles south on U.S. Route 1.
- Turn right onto Campus Drive (main entrance to campus).
From Annapolis and Points East
- Take U.S. 50 to Washington, D.C.'s Capital Beltway (I-495).
- Go North on I-95/I-495 toward Baltimore.
- Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
- Proceed approximately two miles south on U.S. Route 1.
- Turn right onto Campus Drive (main entrance to campus).
From Washington, D.C. (Northwest/Southwest)
- Take 16th St. North which becomes Georgia Ave. North at Maryland/D.C. line.
- Go East on I-495 toward Baltimore.
- Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
- Proceed approximately two miles south on U.S. Route 1.
- Turn right onto Campus Drive (main entrance to campus).
From Washington, D.C. (Northeast/Southeast)
- Take Rhode Island Ave. (U.S. 1 North) which becomes Baltimore Ave. North at Maryland/D.C. line.
- Proceed through the city of College Park.
- Turn left onto Campus Drive (main entrance to campus).
Directions to School of Public Health, Building #255
- After turning onto Campus Drive, proceed to the roundabout with the large "M".
- Turn right onto Regents Drive.
- At the 2nd stop sign, turn left onto Farm Drive.
- Turn right onto Valley Drive and continue to the HHP Building (Bld #255).
Directions to Marie Mount Hall, Building #46
- Traveling south on Route 1 (Baltimore Boulevard), turn right onto Regents Drive (Maryland Book Exchange and the Bagel Place will be across the street from the entrance).
- Pass the Chapel and at the second stop sign, turn right to Parking Lot L, adjacent to the Lee Building.
- From Parking Lot L, walk towards the Chapel. We are located in Marie Mount Hall, which is the building with the large modern glass windows to the right of the Chapel on Chapel Drive.
- Enter Marie Mount Hall using the entrance on Chapel Drive.

Parking for SPH, Bldg #255
Metered parking is available in lots MM2, PP2, as indicated on the map.
More metered parking is available between buildings 99 and 255 (sph).
Visitors may also park for free in Lot PP2 (next to the sph Building) after 4 PM weekdays and on
weekends without a permit.

Parking for Marie Mount Hall
Daytime parking (before 4:00 p.m.) is only available at meters or in the parking garages. It will be necessary to
bring change and use meters with sufficient time allowances.
After 4:00 p.m. only, park in Lot L (Not Lot L*). You do not need a parking pass after 4:00 p.m.

Public Transportation
From Washington, DC, visitors can take the Metro
Green Line to College Park and then the free University of Maryland
shuttle bus to the campus on weekdays during the fall and spring
semesters.
