When you apply as a transfer student to the University
of Maryland you must submit all transcripts from other institutions.
The University will evaluate your transfer credits and post
the equivalent UM course on your UM transcript.
You can view your unofficial transcript by going to the Testudo
website, then to "Records and Registration," and
then to the Transfer Credit Center. You will also have to
know your pin number. You will be able to determine the specific
courses transferring into the University of Maryland.
If you have completed a course at another institution and
it has not transferred to the University, submit a course
description (e.g., course syllabus and/or catalogue description)
to the Transfer Credit Center (TCC) (email is preferred - email@example.com). The TCC
will evaluate the course and add it to your transcript if
If you still have questions, call the Registrar's
Office (301-314-8240) and state that you'd like to ask a transfer
credit question. They are often very busy so you can also
look for answers at The
Transfer Credit Center website at http://www.tce.umd.edu
