Dr. Ko received her BA from Case Western Reserve University, M Ed from Temple University, and PhD from University of Maryland. She currently instructs both graduate and undergraduate courses in Public and Community Health. Dr. Ko was an invited speaker in health literacy and health communication at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. She has published and presented in the area of women's health and smoking cessation and had received a grant for her innovative use of technology in the classroom. Teaching interests include health communication, women's health, consumer behavior, and health behavior.
