Major Research Interests
Health risk assessment and prevention, quantitative
methods, evaluations
My current interest is in the health risk behavior reductions:
drug use and HIV risk-related behaviors, and both have been identified
in the Healthy People 2010. Currently, I am developing the environmental public health tracking system for Maryland.

Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. 3/1/08 - 7/31/11. The major goal of this project is to identify Maryland-specific data on environmental hazards, exposures to environmental hazards, health outcomes thought to be related to environmental factors.
- Exchange Network – Water Quality Exchange II (WQX II). EPA Challenge Grant Cooperative Agreement OS-83404801-0,
Maryland Department of Environment.
The major goal of this project is to build state multi-agency communications by sharing environmental health data.
