Can I minor in Family Science?
Our department currently does not offer a minor in Family Science. The required coursework for the major is 45 credits, which many students can complete in addition to another major.
What are the requirements for a double major in family studies?
In order to double major in Family Science, you must complete the 45
credits of required coursework in Family Science in addition to the
requirements of your primary major. Some of those 45 Family Science credits will
overlap with your primary major credits if your primary major is Psychology, Criminology and Criminal Justice, or
Sociology. You can count these overlapping credits toward the requirements of each major.
What do I need to do if I want to enroll in another institution during the summer?
For an exception to policy you can fill out the Dean's Exception to Policy Request online form. Complete this form and return it to Carrie Petr, Director of Student Services, School of Public Health, Room 2302 SPHL.
