On February 19th, 2010, the Black History Month Lecture sponsored by the Kinesiology Department and featured Doris Corbett, PhD. from Howard University.
Dr. Corbett earned her PhD from University of Maryland. Her research focus is in the area of Social Sciences of Sport with and emphasis on Race and Gender Issues in
Sport and Sport and Human Rights Issues. The event focused on the importance of social justice and diversity as they pertain to leadership. |
