On May 6th, 2008, John Parascandola, Retired Public Health Service Historian, Lecturer, Department of History, University of Maryland College Park delivered a lecture at the School of Public Health. Dr. Parascandola earned a Ph.D. (1968) in the history of science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After spending a postdoctoral year at Harvard University, he returned to Madison to join the Wisconsin faculty in history of science and history of pharmacy. |
