On May 2nd, 2009, the students in Professor Desmond's Hlth391 class presented the Seat Pleasant-University of Maryland Health Fair. It allows them to learn first hand how to plan, implement and evaluate a program, important skills for public and community health professionals to develop. Students spent the day discussing health issues with the community of Seat Pleasant. |
