On January 24th, 2008, the School of Public Health sponsored a teaching retreat featuring Dr. Ann Smith, Department of Cell Biology
& Molecular Genetics. Dr. Smith shared with the faculty and teaching assistants her strategies for active learning. Dr. Smith has recent publication explaining
how active learning strategies were implemented in the College of Chemical and Life Sciences.
