On August 7th, 2008, The School of Public Health presented the First Annual Poster Presentation for the University of Maryland Summer Training and Research Program (UMSTAR). Seven undergraduate students from all over the country, and right here at UMCP, spent 10 weeks in several of our labs at the School of Public Health engaged in intensive research. These students have been focusing on public health and cardiovascular health while tying in their own research background to make each of their projects relate to their interests. |
