On February 13th, 2009, Dr. Wiggins spoke on "The African American Experience in
Kinesiology and Physical Education". Dr. Wiggins' presentation recounted historical
patterns of racial exclusivity in the Kinesiology and Physical Education profession, and
the individual and collective organizational efforts to insure that African Americans
physical educators are accorded the same rights and privileges as their white counterparts. |
