On Wednesday, November 4th, 2009, The School of Public Health and the University of Maryland announced the
Madieu Williams Center for Global Health Initiatives. the Madieu Williams center for global health initiatives
will extend the school of Public health's overall commitment to local, state, regional and global health initiatives,
with particular attention to the public health initiatives
impacting Prince George's county, Md., and Freetown,
Sierra Leone.
