Viki Annand

Dr. Viki Annand

Assistant Dean

She has been on the faculty at the University of Maryland for 27 years. Before working in the school office, she was a faculty member in therapeutic recreation where she taught both graduate and undergraduate classes. Dr. Annand is the person to see whenever you need Dean's exception to policy. She is responsible for all student services including recruitment, retention, and orientation. Her most important job is to serve as an advocate for students. Her favorite part of the job is empowering students to be responsible for their own actions.

Dr. Annand has four children, two grandchildren, and a dog of whom she is very, very fond. In her spare time she likes running, working out, reading, and traveling...oh, and walking the dog. She is best known for her berry pies, infectious laugh, and ready box of Kleenex.

Dr Annand's email is vannand@umd.edu.
