Tre Shadez salon is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic provided by Luminis Health and the University of Maryland Center for Health Equity. No appointment is needed to receive the free Pfizer vaccine. The event will also feature music, food and giveaways.

Salon owner/stylist Katrina Randolph is a certified community health worker with Health Advocates In-Reach and Research (HAIR), a culturally tailored, community-based intervention developed by the UMD Center for Health Equity. The HAIR program transforms barbershops and beauty salons into culturally relevant portals for health education and the delivery of public health and medical services.

This clinic is part of the Shots at the Shop program, which is a partnership between the University of Maryland Center for Health Equity, the Black Coalition Against COVID and SheaMoisture.
